Job summary

TALENT Software Services is seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor & Delivery in Morristown, NJ, to provide expert patient care during all stages of labor.

You will perform assessments, deliver nursing care, document progress, educate patients and families, and ensure safety and compliance with NP goals; night shift 7pm-7am, 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• RN license is required.

Responsibilities

• Assessment skills: conduct thorough assessments for patients across all stages of growth and development.
• Deliver nursing care with knowledge of emergency equipment and procedures.
• Maintain complete documentation, recording nursing processes and patient progress.
• Exhibit professional practice responsibilities and identify areas for clinical growth.
• Respond professionally to patients and families to promote cooperative care.
• Adhere to National Patient Safety Goals and use safe transfer techniques and body mechanics.
• Provide individualized patient care according to surgical procedures and anesthesia types.
• Prioritize patient care based on needs and condition changes.
• Assess and educate patients and family members on surgical procedures.
• Support timely completion of patient testing and evaluate Pre Admission Testing orders.
