Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Michigan. The role involves night shifts (12-hour) on a unit with L&D beds, triage beds, and postpartum care. Requires BLS and NRP, and a current RN license with at least 2 years of L&D experience.

Responsibilities include titrating Pitocin, monitoring maternal and neonatal status, and coordinating with the charge nurse. OB/Neonatal coverage is not in-house 24/7. A BSN is not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Licensure: RN license required.
• Certifications: BLS (AHA) and NRP.

Responsibilities

• Titrate Pitocin as ordered by physicians.
• Care for laboring patients and postpartum/newborns per unit protocol.
• Monitor fetal status and interpret EFM strips; document findings.
• Follow OB/Nursery care guidelines and staff assignments.
• Read patient charts and coordinate with charge nurse; ensure bed assignments.
• Adhere to unit policies including staffing and call duties as specified.
