Job summary

MLK Community Healthcare in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced RN Clinical Supervisor for the LDRP unit on days. This full-time role oversees patient care, coordinates staffing, and ensures adherence to the Watson Model of Care across 12-hour shifts.

The ideal candidate has a BSN, CA RN license, 3+ years in LDRP and 1+ year in supervisory roles, with BLS/ACLS/NRP and MAB within 90 days. Bilingual (Spanish) and EMR experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Sciences degree in nursing; BSN preferred or must complete within 5 years of hire
• Minimum 3 years in LDRP nursing with regulatory compliance
• Minimum 1 year of Clinical Unit Supervisor experience
• Current California Nursing license
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP; MAB within 90 days; NRP preferred
• Spanish bilingual skills preferred; basic computer skills
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical nursing practice and patient care in the LDRP unit
• Plan, direct, coordinate and evaluate 12-hour shifts
• Ensure patient advocacy and adherence to care standards
• Promote staff development and performance under Nurse Manager supervision
• Support Watson Model of Care and family-centered care
