Job summary

Atlas MedStaff LLC. seeks a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a 26-week travel contract in Seattle, WA. You will work 12-hour day shifts, every other weekend, and holidays as needed, handling 500–600 deliveries monthly.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of high-risk obstetric experience.
• Licensed Registered Nurse (WA) with appropriate credentials.
• Experience with electronic fetal monitoring in a high-acuity setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide labor and delivery nursing care in a busy unit.
• Support postpartum newborn care, including assessments and injections as needed.
• Assist with magnesium sulfate administration and related procedures.
• Float to sister facilities for postpartum/antepartum coverage.

This role involves working 12-hour day shifts, every other weekend and holidays as needed, supporting a volume of 500-600 deliveries per month. You will function as a Baby Nurse during deliveries and continue post-partum care of the newborn, including assessments, eye and thigh injections, and assisting with procedures like magnesium sulfate administration. The environment is fast-paced with a high acuity, requiring experience in high-risk deliveries and electronic fetal monitoring. Float to Sister facilities covering post-partum and antepartum units may be required, offering a diverse set of experiences in maternal-child health.
