Job Description

The Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to mothers and newborns. This role requires expertise in childbirth and the ability to handle complex situations with compassion and skill. The nurse will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure the safety and satisfaction of patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients during labor and delivery.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and other vital signs.
• Assist in the administration of medications and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Educate patients and their families on prenatal and postnatal care.
• Document patient care and outcomes accurately and timely.

Required Experience

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Specific experience in Labor and Delivery nursing preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
• Maintain compliance with all required health screenings and immunizations.
