ARMStaffing has a 13-week contract RN Labor and Delivery night shift opportunity in Plainview, Texas. The nurse will handle labor patients, assist in OB triage, and support postpartum and nursery care as needed, working with limited L&D staffing per shift.

The role requires a minimum of 1 year in Labor and Delivery, current RN license (compact accepted), and certifications ACLS, BLS, NRP. Weekend coverage is part of the schedule with on-call support available.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

3 night shifts per week from 15:00 to 03:30 with weekend coverage required (6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule).

Job Description

This position provides Labor and Delivery care in a rural hospital setting. The Registered Nurse will manage labor patients and provide support in OB triage and outpatient care as needed, while striving to adhere to AWHONN guidelines. The nurse is expected to work independently, as only one Labor & Delivery nurse will be scheduled per shift. In situations where a single L&D nurse is staffed, a charge nurse will serve as L&D backup, or an on-call team member will be available for support. The nurse may be asked to assist with postpartum and nursery care when patient volumes and staffing needs arise.

Responsibilities

Certifications/Licensure
