Medical City Dallas is seeking an RN Kidney Transplant Coordinator - Clinic to coordinate care for solid organ transplant patients and donors in both inpatient and outpatient settings. You will work with physicians, nurses, pharmacists and other staff to shape care plans and options.

The role requires RN licensure, BSN preferred, and experience in critical care or transplants is desirable. This is a compassionate, patient-centered position within a Magnet Hospital environment.

Formación

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• RN, Registered Nurse licensure is required
• Associate Degree; BSN required with 12 month enrollment and 24 month completion (Magnet Hospital)
• Critical Care, ICU or BMT experience preferred
• CCTC preferred; should be obtained after 2 years as a Transplant Coordinator
• 2 years RN experience required
• One-year experience in management of organ failure/transplant patients preferred

Responsabilidades

• Plans, coordinates and implements care of solid organ transplant patients and living donors as applicable
• Collaborates with transplant team to determine best care plan and options
• Works across inpatient and outpatient settings following nursing process

Conocimientos

BCLS within 30 days

2 years RN experience

Transplant coordination experience

Educación

RN Registered Nurse

Associate Degree; BSN required with 12 month enrollment and 24 month completion
