Job summary

Atrium Health's Davie Medical Center in Bermuda Run, NC, is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Joint Replacement Unit. The role focuses on postoperative care, pain management, mobility support, and patient education for orthopedic and neurosurgical cases.

You will work within a small, interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality care using evidence-based practice, while coordinating with surgeons, therapists and other providers.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Experience in orthopedic, surgical, med/surg, or acute care nursing preferred.
• Strong assessment, postoperative care, patient education, mobility support and interdisciplinary communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with surgeons, therapists, providers in a fast-paced team environment.
• Support discharge planning and patient education.
