Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing with an Associate’s Degree (required) or Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).
• Current and unobstructed Connecticut RN license.
• American Nurses Association certifications or AMSN certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follows medication administration rights and assesses patients prior to meds.
• Coordinate and supervise delivery of nursing care and delegate tasks.
• Promote safety culture and conduct bedside shifts and rounds.
• Assess learning needs and provide patient/family education.
• Deliver patient-centered care honoring diversity and communication.
• Meet accreditation, regulatory, and compliance responsibilities.
• Support continuous learning and mentoring of others.
