Mercy Health in Cape Girardeau, MO seeks a Registered Nurse in Interventional Radiology. The position is full-time days with potential call hours; you will deliver patient care using the nursing process and collaborate with other departments to coordinate care.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or to obtain within 30 days.
• ACLS certification as required for unit.
• Ability to meet physical demands of the role.

Full-Time - 40 hours/week

Shift:

Days (Additional call hours may be required including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.)

Qualifications:

Experience:

• Previous IR and/or related procedural nursing experience preferred.

Required Education:

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).

Licensure:

Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

Certifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire. Other unit specific certifications including ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) as required.

Other:

• Physical requirements/demands:Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
