Job summary

Mercy in Missouri is looking for an experienced RN to join the Interventional Care Unit (IVC) on a full-time day shift. The role focuses on pre- and post-procedure nursing for cardiac, vascular, and pulmonary interventions in a telemetry outpatient setting.

You will work three 12-hour shifts per week with no weekends or holidays required, delivering high-quality patient care while coordinating with the care team and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• RN telemetry experience required.
• Nursing degree from an accredited school.
• Current MO RN license or compact state license.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-procedure nursing care for cardiac, vascular, and pulmonary interventions.
• Deliver care on a day-shift schedule across three 12-hour shifts.
• Monitor telemetry and patient status for 25–30 outpatients daily.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, efficient procedures.

3 x 12-hour shifts

The Interventional Care Unit (IVC) is an outpatient telemetry area that provides care for an average of 25–30 patients per day. As a day-shift nurse in the IVC, you will deliver both pre- and post-procedure care for patients undergoing cardiac, vascular, and pulmonary interventions. These procedures include cardiac catheterizations, electrophysiology studies, ablations, TAVRs, and bronchoscopies. All patients arrive from home and are independent with their activities of daily living. This position is scheduled for three 12-hour shifts per week with variable start times.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Must have RN telemetry experience
• Required Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited school
• License: current RN license in the state of Missouri or compact state
