Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Interventional Care Unit (IVC) on days, full-time with three 12-hour shifts per week and no weekends/holidays. The unit provides telemetry care for cardiac, vascular, and pulmonary procedures performed in an outpatient setting.

You will deliver pre- and post-procedure care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterizations, ablations, TAVRs and bronchoscopies, with patients arriving from home and requiring assistance with daily living activities.

Qualifications

• RN telemetry experience required.
• Nursing degree from an accredited school.
• Current RN license in Missouri or compact state.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre- and post-procedure nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac, vascular, and pulmonary interventions.
• Manage telemetry monitoring and patient assessments during 12-hour shifts.
• Coordinate with procedural teams to ensure patient safety and comfort.

3 x 12-hour shifts

The Interventional Care Unit (IVC) is an outpatient telemetry area that provides care for an average of 25–30 patients per day. As a day-shift nurse in the IVC, you will deliver both pre- and post-procedure care for patients undergoing cardiac, vascular, and pulmonary interventions. These procedures include cardiac catheterizations, electrophysiology studies, ablations, TAVRs, and bronchoscopies. All patients arrive from home and are independent with their activities of daily living. This position is scheduled for three 12-hour shifts per week with variable start times.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Must have RN telemetry experience
• Required Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited school
• License: current RN license in the state of Missouri or compact state
