Job summary

Mercy is seeking an experienced RN to join the Interventional Care Unit on days. This full-time role covers three 12-hour shifts per week with no weekends or holidays and focuses on pre- and post-procedure telemetry care for cardiac, vascular, and pulmonary interventions.

You will work with a team delivering patient-centered care in an outpatient telemetry setting, ensuring safe recovery and high-quality outcomes for patients with complex cardiovascular procedures.

Qualifications

• RN telemetry experience
• Nursing Degree from an accredited school
• Current RN license in MO or compact state

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre- and post-procedure telemetry care for patients undergoing cardiac, vascular, and pulmonary interventions.
• Handle three 12-hour shifts per week with variable start times.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, efficient recovery and discharge planning.

Position Details:RN - Interventional Care Unit FT, Days - No Weekends/No Holidays!

3 x 12-hour shifts

The Interventional Care Unit (IVC) is an outpatient telemetry area that provides care for an average of 25–30 patients per day. As a day-shift nurse in the IVC, you will deliver both pre- and post-procedure care for patients undergoing cardiac, vascular, and pulmonary interventions. These procedures include cardiac catheterizations, electrophysiology studies, ablations, TAVRs, and bronchoscopies. All patients arrive from home and are independent with their activities of daily living. This position is scheduled for three 12-hour shifts per week with variable start times.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Must have RN telemetry experience
• Required Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited school
• License: current RN license in the state of Missouri or compact state
