Job summary

Mercy is seeking an experienced RN for the Interventional Care Unit (IVC) on the day shift, delivering pre- and post-procedure care for patients undergoing cardiac, vascular, and pulmonary interventions. This outpatient telemetry unit manages 25–30 patients daily and requires precise monitoring and safe patient handling.

The role features three 12-hour shifts per week with no weekends or holidays, a collaborative team, and opportunities to grow through tuition reimbursement and employer-matched

Qualifications

• Must have RN telemetry experience.
• Nursing Degree from an accredited school.
• Current RN license in Missouri or compact state.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre- and post-procedure care for patients undergoing cardiac, vascular, and pulmonary interventions.
• Care for patients in the Interventional Care Unit telemetry area (outpatient) with daily patient load of 25–30.
• Work three 12-hour shifts per week with variable start times; no weekends or holidays.

3 x 12-hour shifts

The Interventional Care Unit (IVC) is an outpatient telemetry area that provides care for an average of 25–30 patients per day. As a day-shift nurse in the IVC, you will deliver both pre- and post-procedure care for patients undergoing cardiac, vascular, and pulmonary interventions. These procedures include cardiac catheterizations, electrophysiology studies, ablations, TAVRs, and bronchoscopies. All patients arrive from home and are independent with their activities of daily living. This position is scheduled for three 12-hour shifts per week with variable start times.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Must have RN telemetry experience
• Required Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited school
• License: current RN license in the state of Missouri or compact state
