Job summary

Mercy seeks an experienced RN for the Interventional Care Unit. This full-time day shift position covers three 12-hour shifts per week with no weekends or holidays. You will perform pre- and post-procedure care for cardiac, vascular, and pulmonary interventions in an outpatient telemetry setting.

The role requires an RN license in Missouri (or a compact state) and telemetry experience. Benefits are offered, including day-one coverage and retirement plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-procedure care for patients undergoing cardiac, vascular, and pulmonary interventions.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments and maintain patient rights and confidentiality.
• Deliver safe, compassionate care during 12-hour shifts in the Interventional Care Unit.

FT, Days - No Weekends/No Holidays!

3 x 12-hour shifts

The Interventional Care Unit (IVC) is an outpatient telemetry area that provides care for an average of 25–30 patients per day. As a day-shift nurse in the IVC, you will deliver both pre- and post-procedure care for patients undergoing cardiac, vascular, and pulmonary interventions. These procedures include cardiac catheterizations, electrophysiology studies, ablations, TAVRs, and bronchoscopies.

All patients arrive from home and are independent with their activities of daily living. This position is scheduled for three 12-hour shifts per week with variable start times.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Must have RN telemetry experience
• Required Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited school
• License: current RN license in the state of Missouri or compact state
