Job summary

Atrius Health, part of the Optum family, is seeking a Registered Nurse for Internal Medicine at 485 Arsenal St, Watertown, MA 02472. This 32-hour weekly role focuses on patient education, care coordination, and delivering safe, high-quality nursing care.

You’ll use EMR, follow RN protocols, manage chronic disease, conduct triage, and contribute to quality improvement. MA RN license and BLS required; BSN preferred; 2+ years’ RN experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state-approved school of nursing.
• Current, unrestricted Massachusetts RN license.
• American Heart Association BLS.
• Experience with EMR and nursing care standards in specialty.
• Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Build therapeutic relationships with patients and families; educate and manage care transitions.
• Deliver patient care per RN protocols, including meds and chronic disease management.
• Conduct telephone triage and support care coordination.
• Perform clinical procedures and document in EMR.
• Contribute to quality improvement and mentor staff.
