Job summary

Capital Health is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse in New Jersey. The role participates in patient care across nursing processes, emphasizing safety, education, and teamwork within a dynamic hospital setting.

Expect a full-time schedule of 36 hours per week with pay Range: $43.90–$59.69 per hour. The position requires NJ RN licensure, BLS, and ongoing specialty certifications as duties demand.

Qualifications

• RN with NJ license and current BLS certification required.
• TNCC within 1 year of hire and 8 hours of trauma nursing CNE if assigned to ICU/ED.
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification or obtained by orientation end date, plus CNE hours.
• CPR, ACLS and PALS or equivalent certifications as applicable to role.

Responsibilities

• Delivers quality care using the nursing process and teamwork.
• Ensures patient safety by following policies and procedures.
• Discharge planning and patient/family education on medications.
• Collaborates with care teams to adjust regimens and monitor progress.
• Participates in Joint Commission readiness and performance improvement.
