Corpus Christi Medical Center is seeking a Progressive Care Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the medical team. The RN supports pre-operative and post-operative care and advocates for a superior patient experience.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• RN: Registered Nurse.
• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift; report changes.
• Perform procedures or functions ordered by the medical provider.
• Document nursing care in the patient record promptly and thoroughly.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor responses.
• Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
