Job summary

The RN will provide direct patient care, document accurately, and ensure safety and quality in a fast-paced environment. A BSN is preferred and BLS is required to maintain licensure and practice.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
• Compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start date.
• RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their BSN within four years of hire date.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Assess: Performs comprehensive assessment of physical, social, and psychological status and integrates input from the interdisciplinary team.
• Plan: Develops individualized care plan with patient, family and team involvement.
• Implement: Coordinates and delegates care; manages time, supplies and resources.
• Evaluate: Reviews outcomes and revises the plan as needed.
• Professionalism: Maintains licensure standards, documentation accuracy, and ethical practice.
