Job summary

Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, VA seeks a Registered Nurse for our 24-bed Intermediate Care Unit (Stepdown). This full-time role includes weekend days with premium shift differential and a sign-on opportunity up to $20,000 for qualified applicants.

The RN will perform nursing care via the standard nursing process, monitor patients requiring advanced interventions, and contribute to a collaborative, quality-focused team in IMC care.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing is required.
• BSN or MSN preferred; new grads welcome to apply.
• Current RN license; BLS within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent nursing care using the nursing process.
• Monitor patients on IMC with telemetry and vents as needed.
• Collaborate with team to ensure safety and quality care.
