Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, VA is hiring an Registered Nurse (RN) for the Intermediate Care Unit (Stepdown) 4 East. This is a full-time role with day or night shifts and a sign-on bonus up to $15,000 for qualified applicants. The IMC unit provides continuous monitoring and advanced nursing interventions, including ventilator care and telemetry.

The Transition to Practice program offers orientation and a structured residency to support new graduates transitioning to practice.

Qualifications

• Education Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing (required).
• BSN or MSN preferred.
• Currently pursuing an accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent nursing care using the nursing process.
• Perform assessment, diagnoses, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care and evaluation.
• Adhere to standards of practice and professional performance in ethics, communication and leadership.

Registered Nursing License (RN)
