Job summary

Arizona Health Academy in Surprise, AZ seeks an RN Instructor to oversee the CNA Training Program, ensuring compliance with Arizona State Board of Nursing rules and maintaining program quality.

The Director of Education will supervise, evaluate and teach students, update materials, and collaborate with staff to deliver a rigorous, compassionate CNA education that prepares graduates for clinical practice.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Minimum of two years of nursing experience, with at least one year in long-term care facility services.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Fingerprint and background clearance check completed.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an Arizona driver’s license.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the CNA training program and ensure compliance with Arizona State Board of Nursing regulations.
• Instruct assigned classes and evaluate student progress toward curriculum goals.
• Supervise instructors, staff, and healthcare professionals involved in the program.
• Maintain accurate records and submit documentation to the State Board as required.
• Develop and update instructional resources and program policies.
