Job summary

Arizona Health Academy, Surprise, AZ, is seeking a Coordinator/Instructor to oversee the CNA Training Program and ensure compliance with the Arizona State Board of Nursing. The Director of Education will supervise, evaluate, and instruct students to become certified CNAs and drive continuous program improvements.

The role requires an active RN license, CPR/First Aid, and the ability to maintain records, develop materials, and coordinate with staff to meet regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• RN license required, in good standing.
• Minimum two years nursing experience, at least one in long-term care.
• Knowledge of nursing program regulations and teaching practices.
• Ability to create and implement instructional materials.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Arizona Board of Nursing rules for training programs.
• Supervise and evaluate the CNA training program, instructors, and staff.
• Ensure instructors meet Board qualifications.
• Instruct classes using up-to-date educational materials.
• Maintain student health requirements and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records and report to the State Board.
• Plan assignments and supervise teacher assistants and volunteers.
• Be available to students outside regular hours.
