Job summary
Arizona Health Academy in Surprise, AZ seeks a Coordinator/Instructor for the CNA Training Program. The RN-licensed candidate will oversee, supervise, and instruct students, ensuring compliance with Arizona State Board of Nursing regulations. The role includes program improvement and governance responsibilities.
The Director of Education will guide instructors, maintain records, and ensure health requirements and policy adherence across the program.
Qualifications
- Current RN license in good standing.
- Minimum of two years nursing experience, including at least one year in long-term care.
- Knowledge of applicable Federal, state, county, and city statutes, rules, policies, and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to Arizona State Board of Nursing statutes, rules, and standards for the training program.
- Supervise and evaluate the nursing assistant training program, instructors, and healthcare professionals.
- Instruct assigned classes and guide learning toward curriculum goals using current materials.
- Provide written policies to students by the first day of the program.
- Maintain accurate records and submit documentation to the State Board as required.
- Ensure instructors meet Arizona State Board of Nursing qualifications.
