Job summary

Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center is seeking an RN for inpatient Surgical Telemetry on 12-hour day shifts at Camp Hill, PA. The role supports patient health assessments, care plans, and medication administration in a busy inpatient unit.

Ideal candidates hold an active RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred. This position is full-time at 0.90 FTE with a generous $10,000 sign-on bonus and excellent tuition discounts for employees and eligible

Qualifications

• Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact required.
• BLS required prior to orientation completion.
• Obtain AHA ACLS certification prior to end of orientation period

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records.
• Administers nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients.
• Advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records and administer medications while monitoring for reactions and side effects.
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients’ conditions
