Job summary

Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center in Enola, PA seeks an RN Registered Nurse in inpatient Medical/Surgical Telemetry. This full-time, 0.90 FTE night shift includes a $5.00/hour night differential and a 12-hour schedule.

Eligible applicants may receive a $10,000 sign-on bonus and Penn State tuition discounts for self and dependents. The RN assesses patient health problems, develops and implements care plans, administers medications, and maintains medical records while advising on health

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program is required.
• Six (6) months RN experience required.
• Active RN license in the state of PA.
• BLS required prior to orientation completion (via PSU Health or AHA).
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health problems and needs and develop nursing care plans.
• Administer nursing care and medications, monitor for reactions and side effects.
• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and medical records.
• Advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
