Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) is opening two newly established 25-bed inpatient medicine units at the New England Baptist Hospital campus, located near BIDMC's main campus. Orientation will take place at BIDMC before transition to NEBH.

As part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, you will join a Magnet-designated academic medical center focused on patient-centered care, mentorship of nurse residents, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• ,
• BSN preferred.
• 1-3 years of related nursing experience.
• RN license required with BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to patients and makes nursing judgments.
• Assesses health care needs and formulates a care plan, implementing and evaluating it.
• Coordinates care and directs assistive personnel to ensure safe, patient-centered care.
• Maintains environmental awareness and contributes to quality improvement activities.
• Develops relationships with patients and families, communicating effectively.
• Maintains mandatory education and participates in ongoing professional development.
