Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to patients and makes necessary nursing judgments; plans, implements and evaluates care.
• Coordinates patient care and directs assistive personnel to ensure safe, effective, equitable and timely patient-centered care.
• Maintains awareness of environmental factors affecting patient care and identifies resources to implement the care plan.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families and health professionals; acts as a patient advocate.
