Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Inpatient Med/Surg unit. New graduates and experienced nurses welcome. Full-time 36 hours/week, Day Shift 7:00AM-7:30PM, at Mercy Hospital South, St. Louis, MO 63128.

Sign-On Bonus: Experienced Nurses up to $10,000; New Graduates up to $5,000. Mercy offers day-one benefits including medical/dental/vision, generous PTO, 401(k) match, and loan assistance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following: Associate Degree in Nursing, Nursing Diploma, BSN.
• Must hold and maintain a current RN license in Missouri or compact licensure.
• Previous hospital experience is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or completed within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process and maintain professional accountability.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments and ensure patient rights and confidentiality.
