Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO is seeking an RN for Inpatient Med/Surg. New grads and experienced nurses welcome. Full-time, day shift 7:00AM-7:30PM, 36 hours/week. Sign-On Bonus: Experienced Nurses up to $10,000; New Graduate Nurses up to $5,000.

New nurses can access the $10,000 Scholar Loan Program, $20,000 RN Loan Forgiveness, and $16,000 RN to BSN assistance. Location is Mercy Hospital South - 10010 Kennerly Rd., St. Louis, Missouri 63128.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with RN licensure (MO or compact).
• BSN preferred; ADN or Diploma acceptable.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or within 30 days of hire.
• Previous hospital experience preferred depending on unit.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; prolonged standing/walking.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments and direct care givers.
• Evaluate overall effectiveness of care provided by other team members.
