Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO, is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Inpatient Med/Surg unit. New graduates and experienced nurses welcome. Schedule is full-time, 36 hours/week, Day Shift 7:00 AM–7:30 PM. Sign-On Bonus: Experienced Nurses up to $10,000; New Graduate Nurses up to $5,000.

The unit provides care for a diverse adult patient population with strong clinical foundations, eager to grow professionally within Mercy.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current MO RN license or compact license per state regulations.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association (or within 30 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care using the nursing process with a focus on safety and quality outcomes.
• Maintain professional accountability and contribute to care provision for assigned patients.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments and maintain patient rights and confidentiality.
• Assist with unit operations and participate in care planning and performance improvement.
