Job summary

Carolinas Medical Center seeks a Resource Registered Nurse for the Charlotte area to float across zones within the Southeast Resource Team. The role supports Med Surg, ICU, ED, Womens, Peds, and PCU with 36 hours per week in a full-time schedule.

Minimum one year of clinical nursing experience is typical; BLS and RN licensure required. You may float to various units to meet patient care needs within designated zones.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in applicable states.
• BLS required; additional certifications may be required by facility.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Uses nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions and adjusts care plans accordingly.
• Administers medications and therapies per protocols.
• Maintains accurate EHR documentation and communication.
• Floats to other units or facilities as needed.
