Job summary

United Surgical Partners International Inc (USPI) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Sherman, Texas. The RN will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all nursing care for inpatient patients, ensuring high-quality and safe delivery of care according to professional standards. Candidates should have at least 1 year of hospital experience, RN licensure in Texas, and BLS certification. Shift schedule includes Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays with 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience as a RN in hospital Medical/Surgery or ICU unit preferred.
• BLS certification is required.
• Current ACLS / PALS preferred or included in education plan.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, organize, coordinate, and implement all nursing care services for Inpatient patients.
• Ensure the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care.

Job description

He / she ensures the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care while maintaining compliance with professional nursing, and all Federal and State standards of care.

Schedule

Friday, Saturday, Sunday 12 hour shifts

Required Skills

• RN, current in the State of Texas
• BLS

• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet needs of patients and unit.
