Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc. seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to oversee inpatient care during day shift. You will plan, direct, organize and coordinate nursing services to maintain quality and safety while complying with federal and state standards.

Requirements include an accredited RN program graduate, valid Texas RN license, BLS, and ideally ACLS/PALS. Minimum 1 year in Medical/Surgical or ICU preferred with strong communication and EKG interpretation skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• At least 1 year RN hospital experience in Medical/Surgery or ICU.
• Texas RN license current.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS or PALS preferred or included in education plan.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Prioritize and organize workload to meet patient needs.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• Basic EKG interpretation.
• Post surgical care and assessment.
