Job summary

Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg, VA is seeking an Inpatient Case Management Supervisor (RN) to lead the case management team. The role focuses on discharge planning, patient flow, and length-of-stay management while fostering staff development and ensuring compliance with standards.

The ideal candidate has RN licensure in Virginia or a compact state, 3+ years in case management, and supervisory experience. Certification within 1 year is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Virginia or compact state.
• 3+ years case management experience.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Specialty certification required within 1 year (ACM, CCM, CCCTM, CMAC or CMGT-BC).

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day workflow and performance of the case management team.
• Ensure effective discharge planning and coordination of care.
• Support length-of-stay management and patient flow initiatives.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to staff.
• Coordinate with leadership and HR on employee relations and compliance.
