Job summary

NurseCore is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for infusion care in Denver, CO and surrounding areas. This role focuses on in-home infusion therapies, teaching patients, and coordinating care with the nursing leadership. Flexibility for travel and on-call shifts is required.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license, with 2+ years in medical/surgical or critical care and at least 1 year of infusion experience, preferably with home health settings and AVAD/interventions.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN required by State Board of Nursing.
• Home health experience preferred; assessments, wound care, meds, infusions handled.
• Minimum of two years medical/surgical or critical care/ER experience preferred.
• Minimum of one year infusion experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home care and infusions within scope of practice.
• Administer and teach specialty infusion therapies and injectables to patients in home settings, infusion suites, or physicians' offices.
• Access and maintain SPC/PIV/Midlines, CVADs, SCIG; perform phlebotomy and lab processing; follow infection control measures.
• Coordinate planning for nursing care with Director of Nursing and administer clinical decisions in patient care; update POC and health changes.
• Demonstrate knowledge of age-specific differences in patient populations.
• Ensure safe care and adherence to policies, procedures and quality standards; manage time, supplies and productivity.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned geographic region; may work alternate shifts and be on-call.
• Administer CPR and other emergency procedures as necessary.

Registered Nurse (RN) - Infusion Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provides quality in-home care and infusions as defined within the scope of practice by the Nurse Practice Act.
• Administration and self-administration teaching of specialty pharmacy infusion therapiesand injectables to patients with rare, chronic, and acute diseases in the home setting, infusion suites, or physicians' offices.
• Proficient in accessingand maintaining SPC/PIV/Midlines, CVAD (PICC/Implanted Ports), SCIG, phlebotomy, and lab processing. Follows proper infection controlmeasures.
• Coordinates the planning for delivery of nursing care with the Director of Nursing and administers appropriate clinical decisions in the delivery of patient care. Proactively updates client/patients’ POC, health changes, and other related incidents.
• Demonstrates knowledge of age-specific differences in the patient population, including physiological and developmental differences unique to each group.
• Ensures safe care to patients; adheres to all policies, procedures, and standards, including time management, supply management, productivity, and quality of service
• Willingness to travel within the assigned geographic region. Flexibility to work alternate shifts on short notice and can be on call for field visits as determined by business needs.
• Administers CPR and other emergency procedures, as necessary.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse through the State Board of Nursing is required.
• Home health experience preferred – Can perform assessments, wound care, medication management, and infusions.
• Minimum of two years medical, surgical, or criticalcare/ER experience preferred.
• Minimum of one year of recent infusion experience preferred.
