Life Care Centers of America is seeking an RN Infection Preventionist to evaluate and improve resident care quality related to Healthcare Acquired Infections and Community Acquired Infections. You will collect, prepare, and analyze HAI data and present findings with actionable recommendations.

You will lead education for staff, residents, and families; serve as on-site IPC for COVID-19 prevention; monitor compliance with infection control standards; and collaborate with all departments to

Qualificações

• Nursing diploma and active RN license in good standing.
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation, kept current.
• IPC training beyond initial professional training; re-training if population changes.
• Geriatrics experience preferred.
• Certifications per State requirements (e.g., Certified TB Nurse).

Responsabilidades

• Monitor Public Health Advisories from local, state, and federal agencies including CDC.
• Act as on-site IPC for COVID-19 prevention and response per CDC recommendations.
• Work onsite at the facility; not an off-site consultant.
• Develop and oversee Antibiotic Stewardship Program accountability.
• Maintain knowledge of infection control trends and employee health practices.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
