Job summary

St Francis Center is hiring an RN Infection Control ADON to lead the infection prevention program and support resident safety. The role focuses on evaluating practices, implementing improvements, and coordinating with leadership to ensure compliance.

The ideal candidate has RN licensure, infection prevention certification, and experience in skilled nursing facilities, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Infection control experience is required.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing Home setting is required.
• Certification in Infection Prevention and Control is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, evaluates and revises the infection prevention and control system as needed.
• Develops an organizational culture promoting good infection prevention practices.
• Keeps knowledge up to date on CDC and regulatory procedures related to infection prevention and control.

• Previous Experience as an Infection Control Nurse
• Registered Nurse
• Certification in Infection Prevention and Control
• Experience in Skilled Nursing Home required
