Job summary

RadNet, Inc. at Optalis of Wyoming is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) / Infection Control Nurse (RN) to support the Director of Nursing in the clinical and operational management of nursing services and to oversee the facility's Infection Prevention and Control Program.

The position promotes quality resident care, regulatory compliance, staff education, and infection prevention practices in accordance with CMS, CDC, OSHA, state and local requirements.

Qualifications

• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred.
• Infection Prevention certification (CIC) preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing with the management and supervision of nursing staff.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality resident care and compliance with clinical standards.
• Conduct rounds to assess resident care and nursing practices.
• Assist with employee coaching, counseling, orientation, and annual evaluations.
• Develop, implement, and monitor the Infection Prevention and Control Program.
• Conduct surveillance and tracking of healthcare-associated infections.
• Educate staff on infection prevention practices, PPE usage, hand hygiene, and isolation precautions.
• Collaborate with medical providers, pharmacy, laboratory, and public health agencies.
