Advanced Correctional Healthcare, Inc. in Wilson, NC seeks a licensed RN to deliver high‑quality nursing care within a correctional facility.

You will assess, plan, and administer treatments, coordinate with practitioners, and ensure patient confidentiality. The role emphasizes documentation, HIPAA compliance, infection control, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to support medical and behavioral health services.

Qualificações

• Active RN license in the state where services are provided.
• BLS certification; hands-on training included.
• Excellent documentation skills are required.
• Knowledge of RN scope of practice is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Assess, plan, and deliver nursing care to patients.
• Contact practitioner to obtain orders.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Provide emergency first aid when needed.
• Record vital signs and other checks on-site.
• Triage intake screenings for necessity and priority.
• Maintain and demonstrate knowledge of pharmacology and nutrition.
• Ensure patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Coordinate multiple medical services as directed by the practitioner.
• May cover shifts at multiple facilities and train new staff.
