Advanced Correctional Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a licensed Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care within correctional facilities.

You will assess, plan, and deliver medical and behavioral health services, administer medications, and coordinate with practitioners to ensure high-quality patient care. The role requires strict adherence to HIPAA, accurate documentation, and collaboration with other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• Active registered nurse (RN) license in the state where services are provided
• BLS certification; hands-on training
• Excellent documentation skills
• Knowledge of the RN scope of practice

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and deliver nursing care to patients.
• Contact practitioner to obtain orders.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Provide emergency first aid when needed.
• Record vital signs and other measurements on-site
• Triage intake screenings for necessity and priority
• Collect data for CQI reporting
• Document care concisely and timely
• Collaborate with multiple medical services as directed
• Maintain aseptic techniques and infection control
