Job summary

Mercy is seeking a registered nurse to provide patient care using the nursing process, maintain patient rights and confidentiality, and collaborate with other departments. You will evaluate the care provided by others and coordinate across teams in a way that aligns with Mercy's mission and standards. Graduates with ADN, Diploma, or BSN are welcomed.

Must hold an RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure, plus 1 year of experience. Required certifications vary by unit (BLS/ACLS/PALS).

Qualifications

• Graduate from a school of nursing (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Maintain current RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• 1 year of nursing experience.
• Life support certification current upon hire and within 90 days.
• For specific units: BLS (MS/WC), BLS/ACLS (CC), BLS/ACLS/PALS (ED).

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of care provided by direct caregivers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of information.
• Performs duties in alignment with Mercy mission and standards.
