Genesis HealthCare in Norristown, PA seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care across diverse diagnoses in a long-term care setting. You will perform nursing assessments, administer medications per orders, and collaborate with the care team to develop and adjust plans of care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing
• Currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing
• CPR Certification is required

Responsabilités

• Perform nursing assessments and collaborate with the nursing team, other disciplines, patients, and families to develop effective plans of care.
• Establish realistic, measurable short- and long-term patient goals with interventions to minimize rehospitalizations and evaluate outcomes.
• Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders.
• Delegate patient care responsibilities to staff and supervise them to ensure tasks and interventions are implemented.
• Communicate patient information with assigned staff and between shifts.
