Job summary

Wellpath in Illinois is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our clinical team, providing patient care using the nursing process under the supervision of Charge Nurse(s).

You will administer medications, plan and implement care, educate patients, and collaborate with physicians to improve outcomes. This role requires strong communication and critical thinking in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum of one year clinic experience preferred.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in assessing and planning individual treatment programs.
• Administer medications and assist with diagnostic tests or procedures.
• Count controlled substances and ensure compliance with policies.
• Document nursing encounters using SOAP charting and attend staff meetings.
• Communicate information to nursing staff, physicians, and supervisory personnel.
