Job summary

Corewell Health's Royal Oak outpatient clinic is seeking a clinical nurse to provide professional nursing care using the nursing process in an ambulatory setting.

The role requires an ADN/BSN and Michigan RN license, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of nursing experience. Day shift, Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with full benefits and on-site responsibilities.

Qualifications

• RN license in Michigan required or active licensure in process
• BSN preferred; new grads must enroll in BSN within 1 year
• 1 year nursing experience required; BLS required

About Outpatient Clinics Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area.

Scope of Work

The clinical nurse, under the ANA scope of practice utilizes the framework of the nursing process to provide professional nursing care by incorporating patient-family centered care principles. The Clinical Nurse provides quality patient care under the direction of the Nursing and Operational Leadership according to policies and procedures within an ambulatory setting.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree graduate (A.D.N.) or equivalent of an accredited school of nursing, required Bachelor's Degree (B.S.N., M.S.N., or DNP/PhD), preferred - if not minimum BSN prepared, new graduate/nurse with less than one (1) year experience is required to enroll in an accredited BSN program within one (1) year of licensure date and complete within five (5) years required 1 year of nursing experience, required State of Michigan Registered Nurse license, required AHA or ARC Basic Life Support certification, required Specialty certification, preferred
