Houston Methodist is seeking an RN III to provide expert direct patient nursing care, leadership at the bedside, and clinical mentorship across the unit and service line. The role includes coaching staff, advocating for patient-centered care, and collaborating with physicians and the interprofessional health team.

The RN III will lead education initiatives, coordinate practice improvements, and participate in shared governance activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited school.
• Two years nursing experience in a healthcare environment, one year in the clinical field for which you will be working.
• Must obtain permanent Texas license within 60 days (if establishing Texas residency) and Texas license requirements met.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, FHMC certifications required.
• Magnet ANCC-recognized certification (HM).

• Leads unit and shared governance activities; serves as charge nurse as needed.
• Coordinates unit and hospital-wide education in partnership with management.
