Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Two years nursing experience in a healthcare environment, one year in the clinical field for which you will be working.
• RN - Texas State Licensure (PSV Compact) with permanent license within 60 days, BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale certification, Magnet ANCC-recognized certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead unit and shared governance activities; serve as charge nurse as needed.
• Coach and mentor department staff in clinical and professional practice.
• Coordinate unit and hospital-wide education with management; act as a clinical resource for unit staff and hospital teams.
