Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia.
• Educational Requirements: Associate's Degree, ADN or Diploma required
• Minimum Experience: At least 1 year of RN experience - Demonstrated competence in RN I performance expectations or meets experience requirements upon hire
• Preferred Educational Requirements: BSN

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and safe patient care based on the nursing process and coordinate care for assigned patients on a shift.
• Actively participates on Unit Council and NGMC committees/councils to improve quality and patient experience.
• Seeks feedback for professional development and mentors others as appropriate.
• Lead as charge nurse when applicable and support a culture of safety and teamwork.
• Utilize evidence-based practice and participate in quality improvement activities.
