Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System seeks a capable Registered Nurse to join our inpatient team on a patient-centered unit. The role emphasizes direct patient care, collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, and ongoing development through mentorship and unit leadership activities.

The RN provides safe, evidence-based care, participates in councils and quality initiatives, and supports a culture of safety and patient experience improvement while mentoring new graduates and peers alike.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia.
• Educational Requirements: ADN or Diploma required
• Minimum Experience: At least 1 year of RN experience

Responsibilities

• Transformational Leadership: engage with the care team and lead change where appropriate.
• Leads interdisciplinary rounds to ensure appropriate care and smooth transitions.
• Applies the nursing process to meet clinical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs.
• Communicates clearly with physicians, staff and patients while promoting safety.
• Supports shared governance and quality improvement initiatives on the unit.
