Qualifications include an RN license, BLS, and 1872 hours of RN experience; BSN is preferred. The position emphasizes patient teaching, teamwork, and participation in safety initiatives; located in a major health system with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associates Nursing (RN Diploma, ASN or ADN) is required.
• Bachelors Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
• RN license required; must be licensed or eligible in Virginia and/or West Virginia with compact or single-state license.
• BLS certification (Healthcare Provider) required; AHA guidelines followed.
• Relevant specialty certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation.
• Lead, coordinate, and communicate with the health team for safe, quality patient care.
• Direct patient teaching and participate in quality/safety initiatives.
